The team has placed the numerical team name inside a thick block ring in a similar fashion to what the Nets did with their logo.

While the team’s primary logo went mostly unchanged, the addition of Ben Franklin dribbling a basketball as their secondary logo is welcomed and fun. The image was initially leaked in June 2014, but at the time the team decided not to use it.
The logo may not impact the play on the court, but at least people are talking about the 76ers.
